It's Never Too Early To Start Learning Ballet
If you are wondering what is the best age for your child to start learning ballet, the answer is “Now!”
Some students start as early as age 3, while some begin taking lessons when they are already 13 or older.
Generally, it is better to start early, but what is much more important, it is where the child is starting and who are the instructors…
Bad habits, incorrect positions and posture are very hard, often impossible to fix… So, even if your child is not going to become a professional dancer, it is still better to give her a chance to start learning the proper way - you will never regret it!
We put a strong emphasis on learning classical ballet technique and style. Because learning the basics of classical ballet is a critical part in the development of any young dancer, every student is required to take a certain minimum of ballet classes appropriate for her/his age group.
Our rigorous Ballet curriculum include the following classes and disciplines:
Ballet class (Bar and Center)
Pre-Point (depends on the level of the student)
Point class (depends on the level of the student)
Modern Dance class
Character Dance class
Private and semi-private lessons
Preparation for prestigious International Ballet Competitions
Our Pre-Professional Program includes:
Private coaching to prepare for professional career
- Preparation for College and Ballet Company Auditions
*Company members have additional requirements.
*Class levels above are approximate. We accept new students who used to dance at other studios and they often lack proper training and experience to qualify for a certain level. On the other hand, some students may have more experience and better training than their peers in the same age group. Therefore, all class placements are made based on the evaluation of each student by the sole discretion of the Artistic Director. Additionally, two or more levels may be combined in one class if needed, at the discretion of the Artistic Director.

Start your child's ballet training right.
It is much easier to teach a child the right way from the very beginning than to fix thousands of bad habits, many of which are really not fixable... The earlier your child starts training at the right place with a professional coach, the better.
