




Being dedicated to excellence in dance, we are going to bring the beauty of classical ballet to the communities of Colleyville, Grapevine and Southlake. Through its performances of classical masterpieces, such as annual production of The Nutcracker, to the performances of latest contemporary works Colleyville Ballet is committed to contributing to cultural life of North Texas, educating public and enriching the community.
Advanced students of Marina Almayeva School of Classical Ballet who expressed interest and passed the company audition have been enrolled as company members. In addition, for our productions we may invite professional guest dancers.

Outstanding Teacher (Youth America Grand Prix 2008, Spartanburg, SC)
Marina Almayeva was born in Baku, Azerbaijan (former republic of Soviet Union.) She received her formal ballet education at the Academy of Choreography in Baku. Eight years of intensive professional studies under Vaganova method included two years of practical training at the famous Academy of Choreography in Perm, Russia. After her graduation Ms. Almayeva became a soloist at the Russian Chamber Ballet Theater “Moskva” (Moscow, Russia.) With this company she toured extensively throughout Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and Israel. Since 1999 Ms. Almayeva works in the United States.
