CONGRATULATIONS to Katia Almayeva who was invited to perform at another prestigious Ballet Gala in California and share the stage with international ballet stars - principal dancers from the Bolshoi Ballet, San-Francisco, Kirov, and Royal ballet companies. She performed Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker with Andrey Prichodko (Principal, Metropolitan Ballet) and Gamzatti variation. She was the first student dancer invited to perform in this prestigious event with long history and perform among ballet stars like Maria Kochetkova, Eugeny Nedvigin, Yan Yan (Principals, San Francisco Ballet), Marianna Ryzhkina and Denis Medvedev (Principals, Bolshoi Ballet) and others.

CONGRATULATIONS to Katia Almayeva on her successful performance at a prestigious YAGP Gala of the Stars at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, Irvine, CA on May 6, 2011. She shared the stage with the several other young dancers selected by YAGP, as well as with professional dancers - principal dancers from San Francisco Ballet and from American Ballet Theater!

Katia received full scholarship and Gillian received partial scholarship for their 6-weeks long workshop!

Katia Almayeva and Gillian Fitz performed their solo variations and in the ensembles; Katia Almayeva successfully performed in the Final Round of the NYC Finals at the New York Cety Center; Nina Putlak and Jessica Neill along with Katia and Gillian had two great ensemble performances.
